This is actually a frequent 'game' at my office, where my boss likes to see what sorts of random information I have stored away in my head. Many times he knows I'm just faster at web searches and the day I don't know something is a day he crows about like you wouldn't believe.
Does anyone else remember those old Encyclopedia Brown mysteries? I loved them to pieces when I was a kid, those and the Trixie Belden books. Of course I read Nancy Drew, Mom still has some of the old hardback editions, as well as the Cherry Ames, Nurse books. Okay, the nostalgia is getting ready to drown me, here.

I loved the Trixie Belden books. They reprinted the first 15 or so a few years back; I have the first 7.

Yep, Encyclopedia Brown and Sally were (are?) my heroes. I’m working on collecting all the books. (Eoin will be _so_ thrilled to hear this… ::grin::)

I think I checked out every Encyclopedia Brown book out from the library twice if not more. Including the one with the food mysteries that included recipes and such. Ahh the memories.
