We actually managed to seriously embarrass him with knowledge twice on this trip. No, I'm not going to draw about the other one due to its skirty relationship with legalities in certain people's youths. This was a good 'start' to the trip anyway, set the tone nicely.
Art-wise I'm not exactly loving the paint-job on this one--I did switch to guache and it came out kinda heavy. Still, the scanning quality color-wise is better so it shows I'm heading in the right direction. I managed to get #5 a bit more fluid so we'll see if the pigment quality holds up after I put in some shading. Who knows, maybe I'll give markers a shot for #6. I'm still feeling my way here, y'all, so changes are always possible.
