Phoning it in, Part 2

Now, really, what are the odds? In the White Pages we're not only listed one or two names up from Golden Corral (a buffet restuarant, for those who don't have them) but also one digit off from their number as well (and we were here first, let me add). Thankfully I think most of the calls we would get for them fall after our business hours, but we occasionally get one or two head-scratchers. The "joke" here is that since we're a commercial print shop (emphasis on commercial, as in large quantities or high quality/4-color process work) it really does cost only a bit more for 1000 business cards as it does 500 because the smaller the quantity, the higher the unit cost due to the start-up cost of a press (plus ink washes, plates, etc.)--basically you're just paying for a bit more paper and ink!

  1. We get several calls a month for Secret Pantry, and each time it’s been a 411 call that gave them the number.

We also got one call during the election season for “Barack Obama’s Headquarters”…
