Riding in Cars With Mom 5

Despite being in Mu Aplha Theta in high school, I was never really good at math under pressure.

  1. Me either, scraps. Me either.

  2. I’m not good at math at all bwahahaa….That situation would make my brain hurt… then again i don’t even wear a watch…

  3. I know it’s a bit late, but…

    60 mph = 1 mile / 1 minute = 1 mile / 60 seconds
    Your Mother’s speed = 1 mile / 47 seconds
(She completed the same distance at a faster rate, so at this point your known speed is already higher than 60 mph.)
    60 / 47 ~= 127%
    1.27 x 60 mph = 76 mph!!

Yeah, you guys were way over the speed limit. Your Mother could very well have been arrested for a Reckless if a patrol officer had seen her!

    1. Oh, I know how to compute it now–at the time I think we were a bit distracted by everything else going on. But thanks for the formula!!!

      1. testing the new email reply feature… don’t mind me!
