Rings on Her Fingers, Page 17

Apparently he'd spent quite a while at the florists as she helped him fit the ring into the rose--they went through several before acheiving the perfect combo. A version of this proposal is written into the wedding-themed graphic novel I'm writing; it was definitely inspiring!

  1. Aww, how sweet. I think it’s always so cool when the florist is willing to help out. I remember my first real date, I was so nervous the whole day and I stopped by a florist to get some flowers. She was helpful in picking out the right ones that were right in the middle but not “too romantic”, but also excited that she was helping to pick out first date flowers. It helped the whole day seem even more surreal.

A wedding themed graphic novel? Hmmm, I’ll have to check that out when it’s published.

  2. I hate to admit it, but that was pretty smooth. Ack, I want to know what happens next!

  3. Dan–It’s a chick-lit graphic novel about a couple planning a wedding, family interference and a soupcon of the occult because strange Tarot cards keep popping up. That is, if I can ever get back to working on it!!!

Al–It was, wasn’t it? Still room for improvement, but that’s where the fiction comes in! lol
